Divers in central Florida are blessed with an array of inland diver sites in the form of natural springs. In addition to typically having crystal-clear water, they have a year-round temperature of 72°F (22°C) making an excellent environment for dive training and exploring.
With over 175 state parks, county parks and privately-owned facilities, Florida has a lot for divers to explore. North central Florida boasts a number of gems to visit, including: Troy Springs, Royal Spring, Alexander Springs, Blue Springs State Park, Paradise Springs, Devil's Den, Blue Grotto, and Ginnie Springs.
Heading to the Atlantic coast gives us access to some remarkable boat dives from Jupiter, Stuart, and West Palm Beach Florida. Coastal Florida has reef and wreck dives where you'll encounter a wide variety of critters including inquisitive sharks and spectacular Goliath grouper.
